Too much to post...

Well, it posted all my pictures in an odd way this time...I guess thats because I'm using someone else computer. Anyways heres a couple of pics of Amy just recently taken...dont know when I'll be able to post more because of us leaving next week. Moving went well, yard sale went well, the wedding went well, etc. Still organizing our stuff and packing for Tuesday...can't believe we are leaving next week already! Lots of love to my family andfriends that I haven't been in contact with lately!

Alas I haven't posted in what seems years! And so much has happened and is happening at the present! I'm not sure where to start...

1. The Jett and Evelyn Smith family went to Canada for a week - it was a lovely trip the weather was actually rather "cool" and not hot and humid etc...lovely to me!! We went to the Kuiper Reunion and that was rather nice too.

2. We got our visas in when we returned home from the North. This means that nothing is holding us back to going to the UK... :S! I'm nervous and scared!

3. It is a year to this day that I laboured and gave birth to Amelia Jane...yes her first birthday.

4. But..alas Amelia woke up last night at around 1am fussy etc...she ended up getting the flu...poor thing! A flu on her birthday!! Shes been sleeping so much today I hope it helps her!

5. Hayley is home...and dinner must be finished...and then we will still have a small birthday party for Amy...even though she is still somewhat sick...everyone has been exposed though.

Anyways...better run!

Grr, I have to redo this again!!! I don't know why it wouldn't blog my first post! Well, I'm not going to ramble all the details of last time...cause I need to eat lunch now! Sorry I haven't posted in so long. But heres some cute photos for you to see!

An afternoon with Julia Rose

I can't remember which day of the week it was that we had Julia for a good long while but it sure was interesting! I think she looks a lot like her dad.



There isn't much new here, well, I suppose I shouldn't say that! I guess there is one thing that is new...Amelia is to have a sister or brother all being well come January. :) I was wanting to keep it quiet for a while...but Jett likes to tell everyone immediately so we kind of compromised.

That pic is cute and funny at the same time...heehee.

Amelia still has her pretty blue eyes (we're hoping they will stay that way).

And a interesting grin.

Jett's been extremely busy with his Hebrew lessons, not to mention all the studying he has to do for the Entrance Examinations! I'm sure he'll do well though. August will be around the corner though...and we're waiting to hear back from Dr. Tallach before we can apply for visas...good thing visas only take 5-10days to process!

Well, I had best be off and doing, am very tired (lack of sleep!).

Sunburn from a horrible ride in Galveston

Here is my dear Amy climbing up all by herself I expect she'll be cruising soon! She is 10 months old now. Two more months and she'll be a whole year!!

Nice grin eh? Well, I haven't posted in a long while because Jett's Hebrew lessons are all on the computer. So it is very rare that I get the computer in the afternoon (like today). Anyways, yes I got sunburnt as you will see in the following pictures! I also go sea sick on this silly so called "deep sea fishing boat and tours". I tell you I never saw such a dirty bathroom to throw up in...in all my life! Thankfully it wasn't even close to the experience I had on the ferry in Scotland (NOW THAT WAS HORRIBLE!) but still it made me think that I should have gone with my instincts and NOT GO!!! Next time, I wont be going on a boat! I don't think boats are for me! Walking sounds great, and swimming sounds lovely but NO BOATING!

How do you like my daughters wee tongue? You should see her manners cause she sure doesn't have any!!

I'm pretty worn out from the days events but I feel soooo much better after a nice hot shower and a nap! Now for a snack and I'll be set!! :)

Okay, this one is all right but don't spread the second pic...its copyrighted by ME!! As you can probably tell, I was kind of giving a weird look or something...I think I inherited it from Jay...oh wait you can't inherit things from your brothers!

Here is a drawing or rather sketch of (guess who??) that Jett did almost 3 years ago!!

And heres a REAL good drawing in pencil of Rachel...Jett is so good at this! I hope he'll pick it up again someday!

It looks like I'll be going to Canada in July, Lord willing, from possibly July 3-13th have yet to confirm and book tickets.
By the way the Metcalfes left to go to the UK today so I guess they are moving there for good now (no reason for them to come back here I think).

Yes, Here is my pretty girl laughing her head off...and no its not to daddy or mommy, its to her "going to be" favourite Aunt Hayley! She can get so many laughs and responses from this child whenever Hayley is around! Heres a pretty good depiction of some fun time with Aunt Hays!

UH May 2007 Commencement!

And here is my handsome husband wearing his gown and cap etc... he was supposed to have gotten the special honors sash (it looks more like a rope in my opinion!) but thanks to the UH bookstore he didn't get one (I guess we should have stated that he was graduation with certain honors).

Jett got his Bachelor of Arts, he majored in English concentration Linguistics, and his minor was Philosphy. He graduated with honors (as already stated) but I think it is the second highest you can get according to your GPA I dont think I'll forget when they called his name "Jett Daniel Smith. Magna Cum Laude!" :)

Midwife and various pics of Amy

My midwife is hosting a get together once a month at the Birth Center, sometimes various speakers will come and speak on certain subjects. I thought I would post a picture of my midwife (Jackie Griggs) holding Amelia. She said when she was checking the birth records for 2006 that my labor and delivery was the fastest recorded that year in her log.



The next two pictures are of my favourite girl who has found out how to open the bathroom cabinet doors...she found it quite funny (as she does with everything new!)

The next couple of pics were taken on a Tuesday after I went to the post office. The lady there knows me quite well by now (after selling so many things on Ebay!) and she knew Aunt Debbie who passed away last Fall (sadly I was the one who told her that Aunt Debbie passed away...it was hard news to give...). The nice post lady decided to make Amelia "Priority Mail" (Hence the sticker on her dress!) I thought it was cute and left it on until Amelia finally noticed it and was trying to peel it off.

Mr. Ross emailed us the following pictures and I thought they were very nice, nice enough to post up here for you to see. Isn't this a beautiful picture of our family? Amelia was smiling perfectly! She is getting so big (I've just noticed). She'll be 10 months May 24th.

Oh yes, Jett still does his famous trick...Amy loves it.

OKay, here are the pictures of Amelia in the cute jumpers my mom made her.

Today I've been busy shopping while Jett was studying for his finals. It was nice to get out in our "Lancer" yeah, a new car! Well, you see we finally received a check from the insurance company so we can finally get the car fixed. So now we are driving around in a Acura (its not wonderful but it works.) Went to a consignment shop to try to sell some items that I won't ever need...I then went to Carters (one of my favourite Baby clothes store) and bought a dressy onesie (or hampie) to go under Amelias new jumpers I also found a inexpensive summer dress for her. I then went to Stephs for a wee while and then went grocery shopping at Walmart. Jett's supposed to go bird watching with Samuel and John in Galveston.

Next week is Jett's graduation (If I can make him go to it!) and his birthday (he turns 32!) and then of course our Anniversary is Saturday (2 years married already). Lots going on next week! :) Well I suppose there isn't anything else to say at the moment so I'll end for now.

I thought I ought to post again, seeing my last post was already over a week ago (I think it was). I've been quite busy lately, (hmm when am I not??) so its been hard to get online to post something. But here, a couple pictures of Amelia pulling books off of the desk shelf...she gets quite occupied with this...and the first book she does pull off is something about "Texas Politics" (I hope thats not a sign...).



She was so happy doing this though! Laughing etc...

Another day she was trying to pull herself up by using the dresser as a help she never got far though cause she still doesn't know how to pull up to her feet. But I thought it would be cute to let you see that she does try to be somewhat mobile.

I thought I had another two pictures of Amelia up here with her new dresses from mom! I'll have to make sure they post up here. Mom you did a excellent job on these cute dresses! Amelia really liked playing with the green one I think! :)
