This Saturday we celebrated Amy's 5th birthday (her bday was actually on the Sabbath). I don't like doing too much for birthdays, simply because it tires out the mommy and I don't see the need to go all out for a child...that doesn't mean I don't have cake and a gift. Also...if I had to do this when or if we had 6 children I think I would be pulling out my hair...so, best not to start something I'll regret later. :)
Yes, she was taken with the balloons. It was hard getting her interested into the presents because of the balloons lol! But she managed to open them, and find, books, school supplies, a memory game and my dear sister purchased Amy's kindergarten books (due to come in sometime this week or next)! Ok...so maybe I'm more excited then Amelia...but she was thrilled to hear about them. I just hope she will be as thrilled half way through the books! :)

And I would've posted a video but for some reason it doesn't want to work. :( In other news I'm half way through the pregnancy. News about our immigration to come in the next post.

Happy Birthday to sweet Amelia! She looks so cute and happy! Let me know how the homeschooling kindergarden goes....I so wish I could do that :( I am still hoping Zac will come around someday and let me do it. Especially when the kids get older--I do not want them in public school for junior high or highschool---that is when the worldy influences are really out there. Are you finding out what you are having this time? Any mother instinct guesses as to boy or girl (of course the most important thing is healthy)
I wish there was an affordable Christian school actually! Homeschooling might be all right now...but I do worry about the later years when its more demanding...but we'll see when we get to that stage.
As for baby Smith, I think its a he but Jett doesn't believe me anymore (I was wrong with Amy you see). But I could be wrong as this pregnancy is completely different from all 3! :D
